Summary

Signal is continuously in overload.

Cause

  1. Incompatible detector settings: a high cell potential in combination with a sensitive range setting.
  2. Some other problem in LC or ECD: see high background current.

Remedy

  1. Switch to a less sensitive range setting, check if less extreme potential can be used.
  2. For a problem in LC or ECD: see high background current.
