3-Hydroxykynurenine
ALEXYS Neurotransmitter Analyzer
- Sensitive analysis of 3-hydroxy kynurenine (3-HK)
- SenCell with glassy carbon WE and salt bridge
- Detection limits down to 0.4 nM
3-Hydroxykynurenine (3-HK or 3-HKyn) is a metabolite in the kynurenine pathway, the major route of tryptophan degradation in mammals. For the analysis of 3-HK, an ALEXYS Neurotransmitter Analyzer has been used with a UHPLC column for fast and efficient analysis. 3-HK is eluting within 10 minutes and could be detected down to a (calculated) detection limit of 0.4 nM.
