Cause and remedy

It is one of the software configuration settings.

When configuring a system with an AS110 using the ALIAS control module in Clarity always make sure that the sequence mode is not active (it is by default: off). The sequence mode is a special mode of operation in which the autosampler is ‘master’ and can autonomously execute a sequence of runs stored in the AS embedded memory. In that case, it will autonomously inject samples (with a time interval defined by the  ‘autosampler runtime’) regardless of the run time programmed in the Clarity method/sample sequence. To avoid this erratic behavior: always have the sequence mode inactive!
