Adding ePanels to Chromeleon

Chromeleon 7.2.xx, Antec ePanels

Summary

This procedure is how to install the Antec e-Panels for Chromeleon 7.2.x. As a first step we create a backup of the existing panels from Antec, Knauer and Azura devices.

1. Create a backup folder on the desktop for the current ePanels on the computer, then close Chromeleon.
   You do not need to stop the instrument controller, just close Chromeleon.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermo\Chromeleon\bin\ePanelSelectors and move all files that contain Antec, Knauer, or Azura in the filename to the backup folder on the desktop.
3. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermo\Chromeleon\bin\ePanelTemplates and again move all files that contain Antec, Knauer, or Azura in the filename to the same backup folder.
4. Once all ePanels have been removed, open Chromeleon and verify that no ePanels appear. If an ePanel still appears, please recheck both folders to ensure that all files have been removed.
5. If no ePanels appear, you can then add the new ePanels. Open the zip file or folder “Antec_ePanels_202601” (or newer):
   1. Copy the .panx files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermo\Chromeleon\bin\ePanelTemplates
   2. Copy the .xsl files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermo\Chromeleon\bin\ePanelSelectors
6. Close and reopen Chromeleon. If everything is correct, two ePanels should appear:
7. 1. AZURA DAPT – the complete ePanel for the ALEXYS system
   2. Decade ePanel – for the Decade only
