Breaking disulfide bonds is a small but crucial step in the workflow of antibody analysis. In the fast-growing field of biopharmaceutical research, there is a need to improve and speed up analysis procedures. With the ROXY Exceed, a significant step forward has been made to automate. In an application note by Thermo Fisher Scientific, the complete electrochemical reduction of inter- and intrachain disulfide bonds in mAbs is shown using Antec’s ROXY EC system in-line with LC-MS.
