Electrochemical detection is characterized by its extremely low limits of detection. In order to get the best possible performance all sources of noise should be minimized. Such a source of noise is electrical interference from the environment. Also, temperature fluctuations will introduce noise and drift in baseline. All Antec’s detectors are equipped with a Faraday shielded oven compartment for placing the cell and HPLC column. It is an adequate remedy for electrical interferences and provides temperature stability.
