L&#8217;assemblaggio senza attrezzi e il volume di lavoro regolabile in continuo garantiscono facilit\u00e0 d&#8217;uso e rapidit\u00e0 di stabilizzazione. Il volume effettivo della cella &#8211; area sopra l&#8217;elettrodo &#8211; \u00e8 piccolo e pu\u00f2 essere regolato tra circa 0 e 300 nL. Sono disponibili diversi elettrodi di lavoro e di riferimento che rendono la cella ideale per l&#8217;uso in (U)HPLC con rivelazione elettrochimica (ECD).<\/p>\n<p>A destra, \u00e8 mostrata una SenCell con elettrodo di riferimento integrato HyREF, compatibile con un pH elevato. Quando si apre la cella tramite l&#8217;anello metallico, \u00e8 visibile l&#8217;elettrodo metallico, che \u00e8 in contatto diretto con la fase mobile. Il liquido scorre perpendicolarmente alla superficie dell&#8217;elettrodo, riducendo cos\u00ec al minimo lo strato di diffusione. Viene utilizzata una configurazione a tre elettrodi composta da elettrodo di lavoro (WE), elettrodo di riferimento (REF) ed elettrodo ausiliario (AUX). L&#8217;AUX viene mantenuto esattamente allo stesso potenziale dell&#8217;elettrodo di riferimento tramite una pinza di tensione, compensando eventuali effetti di polarizzazione che potrebbero verificarsi sugli elettrodi.
