La dystonie est un trouble neurologique du mouvement qui provoque une contraction involontaire des muscles, entra\u00eenant des torsions et des mouvements r\u00e9p\u00e9titifs ou des postures anormales. Il s&rsquo;agit du troisi\u00e8me trouble du mouvement le plus fr\u00e9quent, apr\u00e8s la maladie de Parkinson et le tremblement essentiel. Des \u00e9tudes sugg\u00e8rent que la dystonie est caus\u00e9e par des probl\u00e8mes dans les circuits de contr\u00f4le des mouvements dans les ganglions de la base noyaux gris centraux, avec l&rsquo;implication du messager chimique qu&rsquo;est la dopamine.<\/p>\n<p>Les recherches du Dr Knorr associent pour la premi\u00e8re fois un fond g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 un ph\u00e9notype dystonique. Les analyses comportementales de ce mod\u00e8le ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des mouvements de type dystonie et des anomalies du m\u00e9tabolisme de la dopamine dans le striatum. En outre, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que la stimulation c\u00e9r\u00e9brale profonde normalisait les oscillations pathologiques du r\u00e9seau c\u00e9r\u00e9bral.<\/p>\n<p>Nous tenons \u00e0 f\u00e9liciter le Dr Knorr pour cette r\u00e9alisation, pour laquelle elle a utilis\u00e9 un analyseur de neurotransmetteurs ALEXYS pour l&rsquo;analyse de traces de neurotransmetteurs monoamines tels que la dopamine.
