La pompe UHPLC est dot\u00e9e d&rsquo;un double piston, ce qui signifie que, dans des conditions optimis\u00e9es, aucun bruit n&rsquo;est d\u00e9tectable dans la course du piston. Un rin\u00e7age automatis\u00e9 des pistons est appliqu\u00e9 pour \u00e9liminer les traces de sel et d&rsquo;autres contaminants \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re des pistons, ce qui augmente la dur\u00e9e de vie des joints de la pompe.
