Susanne Knorr, del departamento de Neurolog\u00eda del Hospital Universitario de W\u00fcrzburg (Alemania), por generar un modelo animal de diston\u00eda de causa gen\u00e9tica. La diston\u00eda es un trastorno neurol\u00f3gico del movimiento que hace que los m\u00fasculos se contraigan involuntariamente, lo que provoca torsiones y movimientos repetitivos o posturas anormales. Es el tercer trastorno del movimiento m\u00e1s frecuente, despu\u00e9s de la enfermedad de Parkinson y el temblor esencial.
