Esto es especialmente importante para las muestras de microdi\u00e1lisis. En la microdi\u00e1lisis cerebral se toman muestras de l\u00edquido extracelular mediante una sonda y se recogen fracciones para su posterior an\u00e1lisis. Los caudales t\u00edpicos en microdi\u00e1lisis son de 1 &#8211; 2 \u00b5L\/min, la disminuci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de la fracci\u00f3n a unos pocos microlitros permite una resoluci\u00f3n temporal de unos pocos minutos. En el automuestreador ALEXYS, se han desarrollado procedimientos de inyecci\u00f3n para recoger 5 de un total de 7 \u00b5l de volumen de muestra. Y mediante el uso de microdi\u00e1lisis en l\u00ednea, es posible analizar fracciones de 2 \u00b5l directamente desde la sonda de muestra utilizando \u00fanicamente una v\u00e1lvula de muestra. No es necesario recogerlo primero en viales y utilizar un automuestreador para inyectarlo. La ALEXYS utiliza una c\u00e9lula de flujo de tipo chorro de pared con espaciado ajustable, la SenCell. Se han notificado l\u00edmites de detecci\u00f3n de hasta 20 pmol\/L para la dopamina, la serotonina y la noradrenalina (0,1 fmole). La <strong>selectividad<\/strong> o <strong>separaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de los neurotransmisores relevantes de otros componentes de la muestra es igualmente importante. Por lo tanto, se han seleccionado columnas UHPLC de alto rendimiento para la separaci\u00f3n.
