Durante una parte de esta \u00absecuencia de impulsos\u00bb, la se\u00f1al se muestrea. La otra parte de la secuencia de pasos, son los pasos de limpieza oxidativa y reductiva. Durante esta limpieza, se regenera el electrodo de trabajo de oro. El proceso suele repetirse aproximadamente cada medio segundo. Esto garantiza unas condiciones de detecci\u00f3n estables y reproducibles.<\/p>\n<p>El uso de PAD es realmente necesario, porque la detecci\u00f3n EC (oxidaci\u00f3n) de carbohidratos da lugar a productos de reacci\u00f3n que se adhieren a la superficie del electrodo. Esto contamina el electrodo y provoca una mala reproducibilidad. Cuando se utiliza PAD con pasos de limpieza, el electrodo permanece limpio y reproducible.<\/p>\n<p>Un efecto secundario del modo de pulso aplicado es que el electrodo de oro se consume lentamente en el proceso. Tras un uso prolongado (semanas, meses) se puede observar que ha desaparecido un poco de oro. Las celdas de flujo Antec utilizan un electrodo de oro macizo, en caso necesario la superficie del electrodo puede ser restaurada utilizando nuestro kit de pulido de metal. El pulso de detecci\u00f3n tradicional de 3 pasos tiene m\u00e1s desgaste que el nuevo pulso de 4 pasos. Una FlexCell con electrodo de trabajo reemplazable puede utilizarse para ambas cosas.
